BUFFALO, NY-- Rallies took place across the country Thursday to raise awareness about our 4th Amendment right, guarding against unreasonable search and seizure.

It's called "Restore the Fourth".

People in Western New York protested at Niagara Square holding up signs that show opposition to government spy projects.

This all started after US intelligence contractor Edward Snowden recently revealed the existence of a government surveillance program.
People involved in this grassroots movement want to restore Americans' privacy.
