Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Wily Peralta
exited Tuesday's game in the sixth inning against the Washington Nationals due
to a left hamstring injury.
The right-handed rookie was mowing down the Nats, having allowed just three
hits and two walks while striking out five over 5 1/3 scoreless frames, but
had to have the trainers come out to examine his left leg on two occasions
during his at-bat against Ryan Zimmerman.
After the second trip to the mound, Peralta left the field under his own power
and John Axford took over trying to keep the game scoreless.
