BUFFALO, NY-- The FBI is asking for help in finding a bank robber who held up a north Buffalo bank.

The suspect held up the M&T bank located at Hertel and Parkside just after 10am Monday.

He showed the teller a weapon and demanded cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20's, approximately 5'9"-5'11", with a thin build.  He was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with a "Y" on the front, long dark pants, and dark colored shoes. He also wore a yellow safety vest over the hooded sweatshirt.

Witnesses believe the suspect may have climbed into the trunk of a silver 4-door sedan which was driven away by heavy-set man who was also inside the bank.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at 856-7800.
