CHEEKTOWAGA, NY-- TSA officers stopped a Canadian man from bringing a three-foot sword onto an airplane at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
Officials say a TSA officer discovered the sword while x-raying a box at the security checkpoint on Sunday.
NFTA Police were called in to investigate. The man told police he thought the sword was allowed on the plane.
He surrendered the sword to police and was allowed to board his flight.
