CHEEKTOWAGA, NY-- Three Chinese Nationals face charges for operating a massage business without proper licensing inside the Walden Galleria.
Cheektowaga Police say they received a complaint regarding Serenity Health and Wellness. Police say the business opened at the mall back in December.
Officers went undercover to get massages, and did not see any licences displayed as required by law.
The three employees, all men, were arrested Tuesday and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony under New York State Education law.
They were arraigned Wednesday in Cheektowaga Town Court and sent to the Erie County Holding Center on $5,000 bail each.
Cheektowaga Police have only released the suspects last names. 2 On Your Side has reached out to mall managment at the Galleria for comment and have yet to hear back from them.
