Group Rides Bikes to Albany to Raise Money for Kids with Cancer

BUFFALO, NY-- A Buffalo Police Officer is off on a 300 mile bike ride this midday to raise money and awareness for Camp Good Days.

Officer Joe Szafranski and six of his friends left Buffalo Friday morning on a ride to Albany.

Szafranski lost his 16-year-old nephew to cancer in 2011.

He says his nephew loved Camp Good Days, an organization dedicated to helping improve the lives of children with cancer.

He's riding to help them by raising money, as well as pushing for cancer research and treatment to once again be on the nation's forefront.
