Prostate cancer risks increase for obese men

columbia university researchers followed a group of men after they had a prostate biopsy with non-cancerous results.

obese men were more likely to have pre-cancerous lesions in their biopsy than men who maintained a healthy weight.

and 14 years later, those who were obese at the time of the biopsy were 57-percent more likely to have developed prostate cancer.
