Buffalo, NY - Thousands of Western New Yorkers were in Buffalo's Delaware Park Saturday for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

The event helps to raise awareness about the fight against breast cancer.  It's also an opportunity to raise money for breast cancer research.

For many, this is a very emotional journey.  Survivors are celebrated while those who've lost their battle are remembered. Organizers say 5,000 people participated in the event, including 400 survivors.

We would like to see your moments from today's race.  Upload your photos to our photo gallery or share them with us on the 2 On Your Side Facebook page.
