BUFFALO, N.Y. -- There may be labor issues on the horizon at Kaleida Health's Hospitals.
Three unions (SEIU, CWA, IUOE) representing seven thousand healthcare workers have scheduled strike votes for next week. If members vote in favor, it would allow the union the option of giving Kaleida a 10 day strike notice.
Both sides are working under an extended agreement that expires June 21st and are working with a federal mediator.
Kaleida facilities include Buffalo General Medical Center, Millard Fillmore Suburban, DeGraff Hospital and Women and Children's Hospital.
