A Starbucks in Hong Kong was busted for allegedly using water intended for toilets to brew its coffee.

A local newspaper in Hong Kong, the Apple Daily, reports the Starbucks used water from a faucet close to a bathroom urinal.

A Starbucks spokesperson says the store used the water because it was the closest faucet for employees to use, and that they filtered the water before using it to make their drinks.

According to the report, Hong Kong's Food and Hygiene agency said filtering the water was not enough, that they need to use a purifier as well.
