BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The kickoff to the summer festival season starts today with the Buffalo Greek Fest.
Now in its 36th year, the festival will be getting underway featuring live Greek music, folk dancing, and newly restored cultural exhibits.
Of course, the festival wouldn't be complete if there wasn't a wide variety of Greek selections from souvlaki to baklava. New this year to the menu is a grilled lamb chop and the souvlaki on a stick is being brought back to the lineup.
The event will take place at the Hellenic Orthodox Church at 146 West Utica Street on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
