BUFFALO, N.Y. -- ESPN Films 30 for 30 series has released a new video documentary on former Sabres Goaltender Clint Malarchuk.

On March 22, 1989 at Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo, Malarchuk suffered what many say is one of the most gruesome injuries in all of sports.  Steve Tuttle of the St. Louis Blues accidentally slashed Malarchuk's jugular vein with his skate blade in a collision in front of the Sabres' net.

The documentary focuses on the injury and Malarchuk's physical, mental and emotional recovery.
