WEST SENECA, NY - It is National Emergency Medical Service week, and to mark the occasion, Rural/Metro Medical Services cut the ribbon on their new West Seneca Education facility.

It was also an opportunity for one local teen to say thank you the first responders that came to his aid last May.

Caide Neff had fallen off his bicycle and impaled himself on the handlebar.

Rural/Metro responded to the incident, rushed Caide to Children's hospital, and helped save his life.

So today Caide, and his mother Jeanelle Martin, presented the three EMT's with a token of their appreciation.

Channel Two Photojournalist Dooley O'Rourke was there when Caide said thanks.
