WEST SENECA - West Seneca Police tell us they are investigating the homicide of a 77-year-old woman.
Detectives say Carol Quinn was found in her home on Burch Avenue near the south Buffalo city line. Police say they were contacted by her out-of-town friends who were concerned when she did not answer or return their calls.
Responding officers found the woman dead under what they call "suspicious circumstances," and the case is now ruled a homicide pending an autopsy set for Monday.
Investigators are looking to question Quinn's son, Primitivo Cruz, in connection to her death. Police confirm Cruz was arrested about a week ago following an incident with his mother. An order of protection was issued.
Investigators believe Cruz may be with friends in the area of the Kenmore/Buffalo line .
