LITTLE VALLEY, NY-- The Cattaraugus County Sheriff put out a plea today to the public for information the case of Traci Douglass, the woman whose remains were found in the Allegany Resevoir in 2009.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office held a press conference Wednesday for people to come forward with information that might help determine why Douglass died.
Sheriff Tim Whitcomb says Douglass died of an "unnatural death"and that they're trying to figure out of she died accidentially, or by foul play.
Her body was found in the Allegheny Reservoir four years ago, but wasn't identified until last February because her remains were so badly decomposed.
Douglass was last seen in Salamanca around January 2007. Officials believe she was missing well before she was reported missing.
