Buffalo, NY - There's a sign of progress at Canalside. Lieutenant Governor Robert Duffy was in town for a groundbreaking at the East Canal Project.
It's located next to the former Donovan Building. The $5-million dollar project is designed to transform the site into a new public park. It will feature fountains, seating and a shaded tree grove near the water.
Lt. Governor Duffy says while it's not finished yet, it's a win-win because it's already putting people to work.
