BUFFALO, N.Y. --A second person has been charged in connection with the home invasion attach of an elderly church Deacon who passed away Wednesday morning. Deacon Levi Clayton was the 96-year-old Buffalo man who was brutally attacked in his own home last November.
It is not known at this time if his death was related to the injuries he suffered from the home invasion. The cause of death determined by the Erie County Medical Examiner's office will help police and prosecutors determine if more charges will be lodged against the suspects.
Jordan McKinnon, 19, of Buffalo is the second suspect charged with felony burglary and robbery.
Justice Feggans, 18, was charged in January. Both teens remain in jail.
Clayton was an honorary deacon and chairman emeritus at Friendship Baptist Church. He was also a World War II Veteran.
