BUFFALO, N.Y. - The wait is finally over! You've heard us talking about our new look for a while and now it is here.
We premiered the new look on our Midday newscast on Tuesday. The look comes from feedback from viewers like you. You've told us you want a cleaner look that is less cluttered.
For the past decade, 2 On your Side had a "rundown" on the side of your screen showing upcoming stories. For the fans of that rundown, good news, it's not going away - it's just in a different place. We'll show the three upcoming stories as part of this new lay-out at the bottom of the screen.
If the wording on the graphics seems to be cut off on the screen, or if you never see the third line, your television setting may need to be changed. In most cases, this is caused by the viewing option for the screen to be on a zoom or stretch setting.
To put your screen in the right aspect ratio, cycle through the screen options until you see the correct full image. Most remotes have a button that can be used to change this setting. There is a picture of different remotes in this article that you can refer for help.
If you can't find this on your remote, you will need to enter your television menu setting to make the change there.
Please give yourself a little time - around two weeks, to adjust to the look, then tell us what you think about it by writing on to our WGRZ Facebook page, or by talking to us on Twitter. You can follow us @wgrz.
