ATTICA, NY - The former president of the Wyoming County SPCA was sentenced Thursday for tampering. State Police had raided the facility last year.
As part of her sentence, Janet Foiset was told by an Attica Town Judge that she cannot be a part of an animal organization for a year and will have to complete 75 hours of community service.
Foiset was head of the Wyoming County shelter when it was raided by New York State Police. Dozens of animals were found to be living in deplorable conditions.
A second woman, Susan Davila, was also charged, but she died before her case went to trial.
