We all know eating fruits and vegetables makes us healthier ... but they can make us happier as well!

A study in new zealand looked at how certain foods affected the mood of a group of young adults who kept a food and feelings journal.

There was a strong link between positive mood and higher fruit and veggie consumption -- but not other foods.

Researchers say regardless of your body mass index, eating seven to eight servings a day could help you see a noticeable improvement in your mood.
