Washington, D.C. -- Several Buffalonians traveled to Washington, D.C. for the inauguration.
Elissa Banas is a Buffalo Public School Teacher. She make the trek to the capital after managing to secure her accomodations, tickets to the parade and the public inaugural ball on-line. This took some real internet savvy and a lot of persistence.
Elissa is blogging, tweeting and facebooking so she can share her experience with friends and family.
A group of Buffalo State College students also went to Washington and saw the President sworn in from the mall.
