FINDLEY LAKE, N.Y. - A seven-year-old child was injured Thursday night after falling from a chair lift at a Chautauqua County ski resort.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff's department said it happened around 9 p.m. at Peek'n Peak Resort and Spa.

The child was transported to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.

The child's name and the extent of his or her injuries haven't been released.
