BUFFALO, N.Y. - A fight at a bar in Buffalo's Entertainment District led to an early morning shooting, according to police.
It happened just before 3 a.m. outside King's Court, a bar and restaurant located at 189 Delaware Avenue.
Buffalo police say an argument between two people led to the incident. A male suspect is accused of pulling a gun from his vehicle and shooting at the other individual. The bullet grazed him.
Buffalo Police say 24-year-old Demario Castricone, of Buffalo, is listed in stable condition at ECMC with what are described as "non-life threatening injuries."
Officers say a security guard, 30-year-old Jamie Burgess, of Buffalo, who was trying to break up the fight, was also grazed by a bullet. Police say Burgess was treated and released from ECMC.
Police have not caught up with the suspected shooter. They say he left the scene in a dark colored, possibly gray, Jeep Cherokee.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Buffalo Police. The tipline is 716-847-2255.
This is the second violent incident in the entertainment district this week.
A 19-year-old was shot outside Social Nightclub on New Year's. The gunman was arrested a short time later.
Buffalo Police say that shooting was sparked by a fight that started inside the bar. Police are making a case to the State Liquor Authority to pull the bar's license.
