BUSTI, N.Y. - Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a 28-year-old man for DWI after police say they saw observed him driving erratically on Forest Avenue Ext late Saturday night.
The sheriff's office says deputies stopped Michael Davis for a series of lane violations just before midnight Saturday. Police say they found him in an intoxicated condition and driving on a suspended non-driver ID.
Investigators say they also found an open alcoholic beverage in the car.
In a statement, police say Davis refused a breath test and chemical testing. Police also say that a record check showed him to have an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to pay child support, among another warrants from the City of Jamestown Court for other charges.
Police say Davis is charged with DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, refusing a breath test, open container alcohol, unlicensed operator, fail to keep right, drive across hazardous markings, and move from lane unsafely.
Police say Davis was taken to the county jail with bail set at $3500.
