OLEAN, NY-- Wednesday was a sad day in Olean as one of the city's largest employers shutsdown.
It was the final day of work for the 174 employees of the Daltile plant located on South Clark Street.
Operations at the factory are being moved to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
The company says it would have cost them an additiona; $10 million a year to remain open in the Southern-Tier.
The mayor of Olean says the closing is a big blow to the local economy.
