TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The numbers drawn for the record $579 million Powerball jackpot are: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and Powerball of 6.

The lottery later announced two winning tickets were sold. One was in Arizona and the other in Missouri.

Missouri Lottery officials say one of the nation's two Powerball jackpot winning tickets was sold at a convenience store near Kansas City.

A Missouri Lottery news release Thursday said it was sold at a Trex Mart in Dearborn, about 35 miles north of Kansas City.

Wednesday's winning ticket comes after a Marshall, Mo., man claimed the $258 million Powerball jackpot in 2010.

Arizona Lottery officials say one of the two winning Powerball tickets was sold at a convenience store in suburban Phoenix.

The Arizona ticket was sold at a 4 Sons Food Store in Fountain Hills, Ariz.

That ticket and another sold in Missouri will split the record Powerball jackpot of $587.5 million. That's about $294 million per ticket.

Lottery officials say no one has come forward to claim the prizes, and it wasn't clear Thursday whether the winning tickets were purchased by individuals or groups.

The drawing Wednesday night for the Multi-State Lottery Association's prize followed 16 consecutive drawings that produced no top winner, boosting the Powerball to become the second-largest potential lottery payout in U.S. history. Powerball officials said they believed there was a 75 percent chance the winning combination would be drawn Wednesday.

Tickets earlier in the day were selling at a rate of 130,000 a minute nationwide, the mega-jackpot enticing many people who rarely, if ever, play the lottery.

Powerball's record jackpot follows a Mega Millions drawing in March, when three ticket buyers shared a $656 million jackpot, which remains the largest lottery payout of all time.
