BUFFALO, N.Y. -- New York Lieutenant Governor Robert Duffy says a deal is not done yet, but had good things to say about the state's ongoing lease talks with the Buffalo Bills.

"The talks have gone extraordinarily well.  I certainly am not at liberty to disclose where we're at.  I can tell you it has been very positive.  Hats off to Jeff Littmann (Bills Chief Financial Officer) and hit team, on behalf of the Bills and Russ Brandon (Bills Chief Executive Officer).  We are in a good place, but no deal and no agreement is finalized until it's finalized," said Duffy.

The Bills are currently negotiating a new lease with Erie County and New York State that is expected to include more than $200 million in improvements to Ralph Wilson Stadium

The team's 15-year lease at the stadium in Orchard Park expires in July 2013.  The stadium is owned by Erie County.
