STOCKTON NY - A hunting outing turned into a rescue mission for a Dunkirk father and his son.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's say Brian Meyer, 55, and his son Patrick, 20, were deer hunting on Chautauqua Road in Stockton Monday afternoon when they lost their way and ended up in a swamp at Bear Lake.
Deputies say the two got stuck in the mud and water and had to call for help on a cell phone.
Brian Meyer was taken to Brooks Hospital to be treated for hypothermia. Patrick Meyer was treated at the scene and released.
