BUFFALO, NY - As most of you may know already, this week is Jodi Johnston's last week on Channel 2 News.
Jodi is leaving television for a new job with a local bank.
We've been taking a look back at some of the memorable moments and stories Jodi has reported on through the years.
Monday on Daybreak, we surprised Jodi with a young lady who was featured in one of Jodi's stories, Natalie Rivera.
This morning, to her surprise, we had a message for her from young lady she did a story with several years ago.
Amelia Marohn was four years old when we first met her on Daybreak.
She was born with a rare condition called Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome - which prevents her heart from fully developing. She's had countless doctors visits and multiple surgeries - the first when she was just six days old.
She and her family wanted to thank Jodi and wish her well. Watch the video to see their message.
