Bank Robbery in Jamestown

Jamestown, NY - The First Niagara Bank on Spring Street was held up shortly after noon Monday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The suspect (shown in the surveillance photos here) handed a note to a teller demanding money, and made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years of age, about 5' 10" tall and weighing about 160 lbs. He has light brown hair with a reddish-blonde goatee-style moustache. He was wearing wire-rim glasses, a black leather coat, black pants, a green button-up shirt and a black Pittsburgh Pirates cap with a black "P" on the front side.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Jamestown Police at 483-7537 or to leave an anonymous tip at 483- TIPS (8477).
