CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. - Erie County emergency service workers and elected leaders gathered in Cheektowaga on Tuesday morning to asses any overnight damage from what is left of hurricane Sandy.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz says only one road is closed on the county. Eckhardt Road between Heinrich & Rt 391 has been blocked off. Other earlier road closures are now open.

Poloncarz also said he is getting requests for Mutual Aid from other parts of the state, including a swift water rescue team for Long Island.

Two On Your Side's Kevin O'Neill was at the Cheektowaga command center on Tuesday morning. Watch his report in the video player on this page.
