LOCKPORT, NY-- Two convenience store workers face charges after allegedly selling alcohol to minors.
Niagara County Sheriff's Deputies, NYSP and the NYS Liquor Authority executed an underage alcohol enforcement detail through Niagara County on Thursday.
Officials say 17 of the 19 stores checked denied the undercover decoy alcohol.
Stephanie J. Demmin, 19, of Wilson, an employee of T&R's Store on Young St, Wilson, and Melissa A. Schleef, 36, of Gasport, an employee of Olear's on Chestnut Ridge Rd, Royalton were both charged for selling alcohol to a minor.
Both women are charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sales. They are both due in court on November 13.
