TONAWANDA, N.Y. - The GM Powertrain Plant is about to increase its workforce in the Town of Tonawanda.
Production of a new Corvette engine will create 700 jobs at the plant.
The engine will power GM's redesigned 2014 Corvette. The Tonawanda plant recently received upgrades to support its production.
