DEPEW, NY - A teenager from Depew is behind bars accused of robbing a gas station at gunpoint.

Police say 18-year-old Jeffrey Breymeier walked into the NOCO station on Transit Road around 1:30am.

They say he displayed a semi-automatic weapon and demanded cash and cigarettes.

Police reviewed surveillance video of the robbery and realized the suspect had actually visited the gas station earlier that night.

They found Breymeier and the gun at his aunt's home on Alys Drive.

He was arrested without incident and is charged with one count each of robbery, menacing and larceny.

He was arraigned in the Village of Depew Justice Court and sent to the Erie County Holding Center.
