BUFFALO, NY - Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz released his proposed 2013 Erie County budget Monday morning.
The proposed budget calls for a 3.4% property tax increase to help close an $8 million budget cap.
The increase could cost the average homeowner $18 per $100,000.
The County Executive also pointed out that the budget cuts several vacant positions in the county, but keeps funding to most culturals and the library system.
