BUFFALO, NY-- A Buffalo man will spend the next 25 years to life behind bars after he was convicted of killing an innocent bystander.
Twenty eight-year-old Bengaly Chelley was sentenced Tuesday morning on a second degree murder charge in the shooting death of 82-year-old Ansumane Kanneh. at the Maryner Homes complex in May of last year.
Kanneh, who came here from Liberia, was fixing his granddaughter's bicycle at the time. He was not the target of the shooting.
