BUFFALO, N.Y. - This week Suzanne Laba from the Buffalo Animal Shelter and Sarah Watson brought Victoria to the Saturday Daybreak studios. Victoria is a gorgeous long-haired white kitty who sadly is missing one eye.
Victoria came to the shelter with a ruptured cornea that unfortunately was never treated. She went directly to the Buffalo Small Animal Hospital for treatment, and was then brought home by Watson as a foster pet.
Her owner put ointment into Victoria's eye five times a day for two weeks, however it was no use and the eye could not be saved and a decision was made to remove it.
Victoria is a very loving, low key cat. She is easy to handle, is very photogenic, and is a "perpetual purr machine".
