A Panda at the National Zoo
WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) - It's pink, hairless - and about the size of a stick of butter. But it is sure getting a lot of attention online! That's because "it" is the latest giant panda born at the National Zoo in Washington D.C.
Scientists announced the birth Monday after all but giving up on 14-year-old mom's Mei Xiang's chances of conceiving. There's an active panda cam on which you can track the life of the mom and new baby - but with there being so much demand, it may be a wait to see it.
