John Robert Freeman, 16, is charged with second degree murder.

Tyler Scott Best, 18, is charged with tampering with evidence. Police say Best was not invovled in Isabella's death, but did help Freeman move her body to a garbage can.  Police also say Best contacted them to tell them where to find Tennant's body.

Both teens pled not guilty.  They will return to court September 7th.

Niagara Falls Judge Angelo Morinello closed the courtroom to the public, only allowing family and media into the courtroom.

Judge Morinello told reporters Tuesday that statements made by the teens will be sealed.

Judge Morinello also ruled that the teens' faces could not be shown in court. The judge says he made the ruling to protect them in case they are later granted youthful offender status. Judge Morinello also said, however, that he cannot prevent other photos of the suspects from being shown.

Tennant was reported missing by her great-grandmother early Monday morning.  Tennant was staying at her great-grandmother's home on 6th Street in Niagara Falls.

Isabella's body was found a few hours later in a garbage can located in an alley just a couple of blocks from her great-grandmother's house.
