NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - It appears that daredevil Nik Wallenda has raised enough money to cover the costs associated with his high-wire walk over Niagara Falls.

A page set up on the fundraising site, indiegogo.comshows that Wallenda was able to raise $50,421 by the end of his June 30 deadline.

That successfully surpasses the listed goal on the page of $50,000.

Wallenda set up the page two-weeks before his walk to help pay for expenses not covered by the television contract and sponsorships.

His manager, Winston Simone, told 2 On Your Side that they had encountered "unforeseen costs" associated with the drilling and rigging of the wire apparatus.

The fundraiser featured several benefits for donors ranging from an exclusive photo for $5, to a Skype video chat for $250, and backyard wire lessons for $10,000.

Nobody took up the highest offer.
