BUFFALO, NY - Just minutes after a bomb threat was called into the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) Thursday morning, another bomb threat was called in to Buffalo public School #84 at 462 Grider Street, just a block away from ECMC.

Due to the close proximity to the hospital, heightened emergency procedures were already in place at School #84 and #89 following the threat at ECMC. Once the hospital was given the "all clear" by law enforcement, the threat was called in to School #84, and students and faculty were evacuated.

Both schools have since been reopened, and law enforcement will continue to monitor both schools throughout the remainder of the day.
