BUFFALO, NY -- Four WNY residents have been charged with DWI in the past week.
Wyoming County Sheriff's Department responded to a two car accident that occurred on ST-19, in the town of Warsaw.
Investigators say Robert B. Brown,69, of Wyoming, rear ended another vehicle traveling on ST-19. Brown was uninjured and was transported to SP Warsaw where he consented to a breath test, resulting in a BAC of .19%.
In addition to the DWI charge, Brown was also charged with speeding. He was released on bail and is set to return to court on July 9, 2012.
The operator of the other vehicle was transported to Wyoming County Community Hospital for back and neck pain as a result of the accident.
Jennifer L. Dee, age 39 of Lancaster was stopped at 1:15 a.m. after troopers observed her vehicle crossing a double yellow line on Stutzman Rd. in the town of Lancaster. Dee was transported to the SP Clarence station and was given a breathalyzer test resulting in a BAC of .17%. She will appear in the town of Lancaster Court on June 26, 2012.
East Aurora resident Barnett B. Slutsky, age 30, was also charged with DWI after allegedly failing to keep right on Jamison Rd. in the town of Elma. Slutsky was transported to the SP Elmas Station and consented to a breath test which resulted in a BAC of .16%. He will appear in the town of Elma Court on June 21, 2012.
Amherst resident Kevin A. Girard, age 21, was stopped after police say he was driving 72 MPH in a 40 MPH zone on Greiner Rd. in the town of Clarence. Girard was transported to the SP Clarence Station where he consented to a breath test resulting in a BAC of .16%. He is set to appear in the town of Clarence Court on June 14, 2012.
