BATAVIA, NY - A Batavia man accused of growing cannabis in his home and selling drugs is facing felony charges.

Ian J. Blake, 25, of Swan Street was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, two counts of unlicensed growing of cannabis, a misdemeanor, and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.

Blake was arrested on Ellicott Street in Batavia Tuesday afternoon, following three investigations by the Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force, which includes deputies and Batavia and Le Roy police officers.

Police seized the plants from the basement of Blake's residence. He was also accused of selling Oxycodone to an undercover officer earlier this year, deputies said.
