BUFFALO, N.Y. - A Blasdell teenager now faces prison after pleading guilty to first degree vehicular manslaughter for a crash that killed one teenage girl and critically injured another girl.
Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita says 19 year old Bradley Maloney entered the guilty plea to charges that were higher than the initial charges.
Prosecutors say Maloney admitted he was intoxicated on the night of January 28th when he crashed his car on Versailles Plank Road in the town of Brant. The car left the road and went down a ravine.
14 year old Angela Keim of Hamburg, who was a passenger, died in the crash and 13 year old Elizabeth Szewczyk of Hamburg also suffered serious injuries. Another teenage girl was injured as well.
Sheriff's deputies said Maloney was driving in a caravan with other vehicles with young men and women who were enroute to a cottage.
Maloney faces 5 to 15 years in prison when he is sentenced on August 27th.
