TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- Police in the Town of Tonawanda have re-opened the I-290 West from the Delaware Avenue exit to the I-190 Interchange after an earlier one-car accident.
The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. on the I-290 Westbound at the East Park Road overpass. Police say the driver of the vehicle was ejected.
That person is in critical condition at ECMC. There were no other passengers.
The name of the driver is being held until relatives are notified.
