ALBION, N.Y. - A person believed to have suffered a medical emergency while driving was found dead after a crash in the village of Albion.
The Albion Police Department responded to a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of Platt Street and East Avenue around 3:09 p.m. Friday.
A 2002 Cadillac was reportedly headed east on East Avenue when it left the north side of the road and came to a stop against nearby utility pole guide wires.
The driver is identified as Clifford J. Kelley of Ridge Road. Kelley was found unresponsive at the scene and was transported to Medina Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police believe Kelley may have suffered some type of a medical emergency which may have caused him to drive off the road.
