A Wyoming County man was killed in St. Lucie, Florida Wednesday while riding his bicycle.
Florida State Police say Michael J. Serventi of Perry, New York was riding his bicycle southbound on State Road A1A when he was struck from behind by a vehicle.
Troopers say Serventi was thrown off of the bike as a result of the impact. He was transported to Lawnwood Medical Center where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
Police are still investigating. Charges are pending.
