BUFFALO, NY - Just imagine the frustration of waking up to find the tires on your car had been slashed.

Residents in a two block radius of Alabama Street near Mackinaw found at least 19 cars with slashed tires. It seems like random and very expensive vandalism to some people.

Alabama Street resident Diane Davison said, "They didn't pick anybody out. They just went from car to car and then they went around the block and another car and car and sometimes two cars together."

That's what kept repair road service staffers from AAA and other folks busy Saturday morning with plenty of car jacks and other tools in use. And of course those skinny road spares or replacement tires had to be mounted.

Car owners say Buffalo Police came and took information to try and track down whoever is responsible, but they are somewhat puzzled, again because of the random targeting of tires and quiet nature of the neighborhood.

"It's a nice quite neighborhood. We all stick together. And that's what it is a nice neighborhood." said Davidson.

Buffalo Police say they have arrested a 13-year-old male and have charged him with multiple counts of criminal mischief. More charges could be pending upon further investigation.
