BUFFALO, NY - Designated Drivers of Buffalo always step up around the holidays to provide discounted rates for people. St. Patrick's Day is no different, and this year some of the proceeds go towards a good cause.

Designated Drivers of Buffalo has teamed up with Crusade Against Impaired Driving, or CAID, to help make Buffalo and the surrounding areas a little safer this St. Patrick's Day.

DDOB is offering a discounted rate of $2.50 a mile and $25 pick-up fee starting Saturday March 17th until 4 a.m. Sunday.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to CAID.

CAID is a program that aims to inform people about the dangers of drunk driving and texting while driving.
