NIAGARA FALLS, NY - A student at LaSalle Preparatory School in Niagara Falls faces charges for allegedly bringing drugs to school and giving them to other students.
Niagara Falls Police detectives say they were contacted by school officials that a student has distributed unknown pills to six other students. They say five students took the pills and became sick.
Police have identified the pills as a controlled substance, but they do not know how the student obtained the pills.
The student will be petitioned to family court and charges are pending.
No names are being released due to the students' ages.
